Refund Policy

Quick Summary
Credits are digital goods and are generally non-refundable once purchased. However, we offer refunds in specific circumstances as outlined below. We also provide automatic credit refunds when vendor searches return insufficient results.
1. Digital Goods
Eventilly credits are digital goods. Under Australian Consumer Law, digital products are generally excluded from the standard refund rights that apply to physical goods. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that:
- Credits are delivered instantly upon successful payment
- Credits can be used immediately after purchase
- The nature of digital goods means they cannot be "returned"
2. When We Provide Refunds
Technical Failures
If a technical error on our end prevents you from using credits you've paid for, we will refund the affected credits or provide replacement credits.
Duplicate Charges
If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same purchase, we will refund all duplicate charges.
Insufficient Vendor Results
If a vendor search returns fewer than 5 results, we automatically refund the credit used for that search. This happens automatically - no action required from you.
Service Not as Described
If our service is significantly different from what we've described and you've been unable to use your credits as intended, we will consider a refund request.
3. When Refunds Are Not Provided
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind about using the service after purchase.
Credits Already Used
Credits that have been used for vendor searches cannot be refunded, except in cases of technical failure or insufficient results.
Dissatisfaction with Vendors
We do not refund credits because you were unsatisfied with the vendors returned in your search. We provide access to Google Places data; the quality of vendors in your area is outside our control.
Expired Free Credits
All credits (free and purchased) expire 30 days from the date they are granted and cannot be refunded or reinstated after expiry.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase with:
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or error messages

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are processed back to the original payment method
- Processing time is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your bank
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
- Any credits associated with the refunded purchase will be removed from your account
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any consumer guarantees or rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If goods or services you purchase from us have a major failure, you are entitled to:
- Cancel the contract and obtain a refund, or
- Keep the contract and receive compensation for the difference in value
For minor failures, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you may have the failure rectified elsewhere and recover costs, or cancel the contract.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is fraudulent, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in account suspension.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
